"Love & Consequences"

Nyema M. Taylor is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the author of the self-published novels Love & Consequences and Deceitful Obsession, published by Dreams 2 Write Publishing, which she is the founder and owner of. Penning poetry since middle school, writing has always been a passion. Reading novel after novel, Taylor knew she too had a story to tell. Her freshman novel, Love & Consequences, is based on a true story, inspired by her very own life. While struggling with issues within herself, writing became an outlet.

The creativity comes from things she may have experienced or seen while growing up in the inner city which makes her writing more relevent to the urban community. Some good, some bad, but definitely all worth living because it gives her the strength she has today. Her style is street savvy, raw, and relatable. All the rave reviews are what inspire her to keep pushing until the wheels fall off. Her goal is success and she plans to reach the top sometime in the near future.  She now resides in the Maryland area where she is currently working on the sequel to Back Stabbers and upcoming novel titles Breakin' All The Rules.

The Wild Side

 

The wild side of the imagination isn’t complicated to know

You just have to sit down, pick up a pen, think and let it flow

The pen is your friend and the pad is your maker

Creativity, Characters and the Tone can come later

If its in you, its in you and if its not, its not

But never say you can’t do until you’ve given your last shot

It may even get hard and frustrating as time goes by

But give all you can give, take it and stride…
